Social value tracking at Beyond Housing

The Social Value Tracker is a new centralised tool at Beyond Housing, designed to monitor and report on social value commitments made by suppliers during the tendering process.

Historically, these commitments were not formally tracked, resulting in limited visibility and accountability. The introduction of this tracker marks the start of an ongoing shift in approach, ensuring that social value is embedded within procurement and contract delivery.

The tracker captures a wide range of commitments, including monetary contributions, apprenticeships, training, volunteering, community support and work experience opportunities, and whether commitments have been delivered or invoiced.

This approach tracks activity to the original vision to manage progress over multiple financial years, enabling clear reporting on what has been achieved.

By consolidating all data into one central document, Beyond can now start to focus where it implements social value, supporting its strategic objectives such as community development, employment and sustainability.
